VARDA STEAM SERVICE POLICIES CLEAR BOUNDARIES
These policies exist for one reason: a premium result without surprises. We keep the method controlled, the scope clear, and the finish consistent.
Booking a service confirms you’ve reviewed and accept these policies.
Quick policy highlights
- Minimum service call applies (covers arrival, setup, surface assessment, and controlled method workflow).
- We do not move heavy furniture or appliances (sofas, beds, dressers, tables, refrigerators, stoves). Light items only, when safe.
- Baseboards / moldings are an add-on unless explicitly included in your selected package.
- Buildup level affects pricing. Heavy grease, dark grout, mineral buildup, pet issues, or long-term neglect may require a surcharge.
- No 100% guarantee for stain/odor removal (especially old or deeply set conditions). We aim for best possible improvement with surface safety.
Appointments & estimates +
We work by appointment only. Any price range shared before the visit is an estimate. Final pricing may adjust after an on-site assessment of size, buildup level, and surface conditions. Services are priced by packages (not by hour).
What’s included vs. add-ons +
Each service includes only what’s listed in your selected package. The following are add-ons unless listed as included:

Furniture & access +
For safety and liability, VARDA does not move heavy furniture or appliances. Please remove small items from floors and countertops prior to arrival (toys, bath items, decor, loose mats). If cleaning under heavy items is requested, the client must move them before the appointment.
Buildup, stains, odors +
Heavy buildup (grease, dark grout, long-term neglect), hard-water minerals, pet issues, and older stains may require additional manual work and therefore a surcharge. We do not guarantee complete removal of all stains, discoloration, or odors—especially if they are old or deeply absorbed.
Existing damage / wear (important) +
VARDA is not responsible for existing damage or wear, including but not limited to: lifted cabinet edges, swollen MDF, loose tiles, cracked grout, deteriorated silicone, scratches/etching on glass, worn carpet lanes, fabric wear or fading. Cleaning may reveal pre-existing wear that was not visible prior to service.
Surface safety +
VARDA may avoid steam on sensitive materials (e.g., natural stone such as marble/travertine, delicate finishes, or compromised edges) to prevent damage. In such cases we use a safer alternative method or exclude the area.
Payment & cancellations +
Payment is due upon completion unless agreed otherwise. Accepted methods: (add yours: Venmo / Cash / Check). Please provide at least 24 hours notice to cancel or reschedule. Same-day cancellations or no-shows may be subject to a fee ($50–$100).
